With vintage scoring taking on new importance as wine-making technology advances, fragmentation grows (so many options, so many wineries), and new business models obfuscate the actual "winery behind the product," we're interested in knowing what varietals, vintages, regions are the ones that are "safe buys." Have an opinion? What about:
- 2004-2006 Piedmont or Tuscany
- 2005, 2006, 2007 Cotes du Rhone
- 2004-2006 CA Central Coast Rhone
- Recent WA Cabernet Sauvignon Harvests
- Recent Napa / Sonoma Syrah
- 2005-2007 Bordeaux
What do you think? Comments welcome. Thanks!
